Dave Martz has over 20 years of experience in water resources and municipal engineering. Three years ago Dave joined Sameng Inc. and has added his considerable experience in water management to our team. Dave worked with the City of Edmonton in a stormwater planning role before joining Sameng Inc. As a senior engineer, he worked closely with consultants in preparing master drainage plans and site specific drainage plans. Dave was also responsible for long term stormwater planning; strategy and policy development; and project management. Prior to the City of Edmonton, Dave worked with Ducks Unlimited Canada. There he was Chief Technical Design Engineer for water control structures. Dave designed dams, outlet structures, wetlands, canals, dikes, wetland and lake erosion control works, water level control structures, and other water related structures. Dave has probably designed more dams and related works than anyone in Alberta. In addition, Dave was construction project manager for most of the structures that he designed.
